Langkawi Tour

What do you expect to see in Pulau Langkawi? A beautiful seashore? A breathtaking sunset? A romantic dinner? Well, you will find many exciting event there as long as you spend your precious time there. It is a beautiful tiny island somewhere off the mainland of Kedah.

I would like to share here the experience of my trip with my four other friends around the unique island. We planned the trip ourselves and went there with the help of my friend's family. We are so into the mood of traveling and we enjoy ourselves very much. It certainly will go into my one-of-the-most-memorable-event in my diary.

We rode on a ferry there in the morning and we arrived there around 11a.m. A car was there waiting for us and all we need to do was paid the expenses. We rented a car and a trip around the island was started.

We checked in around 3p.m. and we rest a while. The next thing we did was we went out to the Dataran Helang. It was crowded as it was a must see spot in Pulau Langkawi. We took a great deal of photos and what we did not expect next was raining. We quickly rushed back to the car and leave. The scenery there was so amazing that I shall never forget. It remained fresh in my mind. The wind blew softly on our cheek and it was so relaxing there. Everyone there was enjoying their life and everything is in a slow pace. It seemed to me that an ideal place for retirement. We also spent our time at the seaside. The water was so cold and yet we still went into it. The scenery was so amazing!

At night, we explored the stalls there. There was a variety of food in Pulau Langkawi. You can find any types of food there. We enjoyed very much the Chinese and Western food there. You can even have "satay" there. It was too good to miss. As long as you have money, you can have any food you want there. We bought a few souvenirs there too.

The next day, we went to the underwater world and the duty free shop. We saw a lot of underwater species and it did give us a great time. We took photo and we can have a look at the cute penguin. They were so cute when we saw them rushing for food. They walked gracefully and in a very special way. How wonderful was that! We also bought a lot of chocolates in the duty free shop. It was fun!


Later on, we went to the Sky bridge. We waited for the cable car and when we slowly got uphill it was so beautiful that I found my jaw dropped to an O. I cannot find words good enough to express my feelings. It was so not to miss. I felt like I was alive again up the hill. The wind blew on us and we chatted happily.

The last day we went home. It was such an interesting trip that I will never forget in my life. If you ask me whether I will go again next time, sure I will nod my head so many times that make myself dizzy.
